Tempo day. I had my best one yet. I hit my time and will be moving up to 24 minutes next week. Looking forward to it.

Coach ran with me up Old Man Hills. He really pushed me and allowed me to perform to my best. I didn't push as much as I could have on the first one, but I did much better on the second. The final one was my best, as I got progressively faster and had Coach there to push me. Pain is temporary.

Am: 3 miles Morning practice. Arctic Circle and back.

Pm: 5 miles Chuckwalla Trail Run. Felt good

Pm: Two mile warmup and cool with a 1600 time trial. Got a new PR with a time of 5:25.

PM: 10 miles with tempo. Didn't do my best tempo today. Gonna shoot for 24 minutes again next week.

Am: Mr. PVHS 5k with warmup and cool. Not a PR, but a good time of 18:51. Came in 9th overall.

5 mile trail run today but had a mile time trial during 4th period Weight Training.

Dogtown 9k was cut down to 5 miles for some unknown reason. But, I got 29:54 so I'm happy! 2 mile warm and 1 mile cool. Felt good getting a top-three finish.

Takin it easy after wisdom teeth surgery last week. I honestly thought I'd feel great but after about a half of a mile into my run, my jaw started throbbing. I can't wait until I'm back into the groove of things. Also, great job to everyone in the track meet at Hurricane this weekend.

Mile warmup and cool with four mile repeats in between. Felt pretty good during but after I had a major headache. Hope this doesn't continue to happen. 

PM: 5.5

Four mile easy past Hot Nails, or Arctic Cat, or whatever we call it now. Felt great during this. 2x300's after in which I think I did really well. Striders at the end. Took them slow but it was a nice cool down and I felt good.

PM: Panther Relays at PVHS. Two mile warmup, and another quarter mile before my sprint medley. I ran the 800 and don't know my time yet. But i don't think it was my best. I had the headache again, but a lot worse. Luckily, it was considerably better in time for my 4x8 race. I was third leg and had an 800 time of 1:26. That sucks for me. I know I can do better than that! I don't know why I keep holding myself back, but I will keep on working hard until I stop. Finally, took Abel's spot in the 4x4. My team was really generous to take me over him. But I didn't have a team so I'm grateful for them allowing me to take the second leg. Got a PR 400 with a 1:03. It was only a PR by 1 second, but still, it was a PR. Went home and ran another two mile cooldown to get close to my mileage.
